Boys Tennis Beats Clarksville 5-0

Scottsburg beats Clarksville 5-0. I felt like we played competitive and had our moments. Overall, it was just too much inconsistent play.  Everyone started slow today and then stepped up in the second set but came up short. We need to come out with more confidence & aggresiveness from the start in our matches. Espsically

Clarksville beat Corydon Central 4-1.  I thought the entire team played a nice confident match today. All the singles players were really focused and played aggressive. Terry Morgan at #2 singles really came out confident, tough and was the first off, the courts. This was a good team win. #1 Singles: Ethan Neal (Clarksville) defeats

Charlestown defeated Clarksville 5-0. I thought Ethan Neal played tough in his new role as our #1 singles, he always competes.  Saul Tatum also played a nice match in his first start at #3 singles.  Our doubles team was not very competitive today but I look for them to bounce back in tomorrow’s match. #1

Boys Tennis defeated by BNL 5-0

Bedford North Lawerence defeated Clarksville 5-0. I thought we played a fairly competitive match all things considered; this was unique in that our entire line up was different.  Our new doubles team of Aiden Craig & Jaylen Reyer, really stepped up, played well and should get tougher moving forward. Everybody will have to adjust to

Tennis Falls to Providence 5-0

Providence defeated Clarksville 5-0. Overall, I thought we played a fairly competitive match. There were some bright spots in the play of #2 doubles Jaylen Reyer/Saul Tatum battling who lost a tight 3 setter.  I also thought #1 singles Elijah Dowell played fairly well losing in a tight 2 sets. We have to continue closing

Clarksville won a tough battle over North Harrison 3-2.  We got excellent play today from #1 singles Elijah Dowell and #2 singles Ethan Neal.  They both won their matches in straight sets with strong consistent play. The last match on court, which clinched the win, was a hard fought three set thriller won by our #2 doubles
